Brief Project Description:   The Thunderbird project is a 3.3 acre site that was the former home of the Indian Health Board’s Thunderbird treatment center.  This is a unique site for Seattle that will allow for larger size units at the Rainier Beach light rail station.  The early feasibility shows that we can construct a 5 building garden style apartment project providing for a unit count of approximately 233 units with a number of 3 and 4 bedroom units for families.  We are planning a 6^th two story building to contain the management offices, a central laundry facility, and a community room.  This project will not contain any commercial space.
